I am awed. Good job! I have hiked a number of the Virginia parts with my two dogs and recognized the pictures ..fondly. Would love to thru hike but still wary being a single hiker (even with dogs).

WOW! great video, you make me want to attempt that journey!!
Ummm that would be a no. In fact even bring your cell phone is considered “taboo” on the AT.

Is there electricity in the shelters to recharge my cell phone?
Great video! I remember all of those spots and the entire state of Vermont was rain and muddy trails. Kinda like a river, 2ft wide 2,178 miles long haha

Great video! My daughter is in Maine and has about 230 miles to go.
Food, it’s a long way to carry it all.
What are the 30 mail drops for?
Such an inspirational video! Congratulations on your achievement and I loved what you said at the closing.
Good video. I didn’t know Pine Grove Furnace is the half-way point. That’s really close to me, and so far I’ve hiked Duncanon to Center Knob Point (near Boiling Springs). Hope to hike more.
ive hiked part of this
hiking the AP trail is my dream too
Nice pictures!! Thanks for sharing with us.
XaviersSecretary: I section hiked with my dog (about 170 miles) and it was so much better that way. She smelled out a wild boar along the trail (in NC). Wouldn’t have seen it otherwise since it blended in with the brown leaves while foraging. My dog–Polenka–handled it very well, respected the boar and didn’t disturb it. Many more experiences like that hiking throughout U.S. with her. Wished I’d have had Polenka on the AT thru-hike (GA-ME 2/4-6/18/01).
Awesome video man. What an inspiration. My wife and I hope to through hike the AT during the 2011 season. Looks like a blast!
