What are good running shoes for hiking as well?

I am going hiking/walking on trail terrain and I noticed that I really don’t have any running shoes or shoes for this as well. Can someone advise me to which shoes are very comfortable for running but can also be used a few times without strain for hiking/trails? Oh and by running shoes I mean for women. Thank you!

I have a pair of New Balance All Terrain running shoes that are great for that. They are not so good for intense running on treadmills or pavement however. Good luck and Happy Trails

The Adidas Supernova Riot, Asics Gel Trabuco WR and the Nike Pegasus+ 26 ESC has sufficient cushioning for running and has a hard wearing outer sole for rough terrain. These trail shoes have more stability because they are for running over uneven surfaces and the nike and asics uppers are water resistant.
The only advantage of having a running shoe over a trail running shoe is that the upper is lighter(but trail is stronger) and the outer-sole is lighter(but trail is stronger)
If you are purely road running then get a running shoe will suffice but a trail running shoe will do both fine.

    I have these:

I go hiking and trail running in them. I have loved their performance and the traction can’t be beat.
