WATCH my video on HIKING GEAR and search my site
What is the name of your hiking guide and could you suggest a couple more a person could choose from? Thanks
I have an old apple juice tin fashioned into a hobo stove. Depending on the regulations of using such an item (ie, burn ban) it can be a life saver. I may use it an odd time to cook on but i have my MSR Whisperlite mainly for cooking. The big part of the hobo stove is that the fire is comforting, a source of heat on a chilly night and it gives you something to do. Boredom can wreak havock on ones mind. Always important to keep your mind stimulated.
wow nice gear! and really inspiring video , thank’s!
I can answer you second question.
sometimes you can’t build fires because the land is too dry and theres a risk of burning down alot of suff…
cuz its a fuk of alot qwiker n easier
you save money and take off. You just do it. Not like there is a trick.
b/c you are not allowed to make fires everywhere. And that takes gathering wood and developing a way to get your stove over the fire. His stove and pot weighs less than a pound im sure. Nothing at all.
ok.. luxury items but you dont carry a knife?!?!?!?!? that is essential…. you could have a folder mini sharpener. both of those could add up to 4 oz max if you carry a good benchmade folder..
I have one question and I’m not being an ass. How do you guys afford to take off of work long enough to hike for that long.
Just thought of another one. Why do hikers carry a stove and fuel as apposed to making a fire for cooking. That could cut a lot of weight.
great vid. how many days of food do you take with you at a time?
Awesome video. Great gear primer for hitting the AP or LT..
Man nice set up /but you got some tiny feet
thanks for the video, good job… very helpful, I’m about to hit the ct/ma portion for the first time! Stay safe, maybe I’ll see you out there
Nice video! I hope your hike is going well
