Whether its much use depends on if you want to carry extra weight *rifle plus ammo is already heavy* how far your shooting, and whether you can use natural surroundings as a support. Not many people i know bother with them. Most either use a tree themselves or a bipod</description>

		<description>Please know what your talking about before you say anything.  Resting the rifle makes it more accurate not less.  you can buy mono pods and bi pods for just that purpose.  Snipers use that stuff all the time as well as hunters.</description>
